MUSIC: BASE ONE - IRUMOLE (PRODUCED BY XBLAZE)

After trending on twitter barely two weeks ago due to the massive response to his dance hit, ELEBOLO, popular Indigenous Hip Hop artist, Base One is back, madder than ever, with another hit tune, "IRUMOLE".  Powered up with his bragging rights, He drops his unique metaphors heavily across all bars and leaves another lasting impression of the madman called BASE ONE.

Teaming up once again with his longtime friend and producer/hitmaker, Xblaze, who delivers another signature hit production, Base One stands tall lyrically to take his place as a force to be reckoned with in the music industry.

Base One is a renowned Indigenous Hip Hop artist who has worked with the likes of Olamide, Reminisce, Nikki Laoye, ModeNine etc. He was also one of the artistes invited to make a cameo appearance in Olamide's Awon Goons Mi video.

It's time to get your "brag on". Download IRUMOLE now!!!

MUSIC + VIDEO : ARISE O COMPATRIOTS, ITS NIKKI LAOYE'S CALL ONCE AGAIN (NIGERIA NATIONAL ANTHEM)

As Nigeria turns 54, Nikki Laoye reminds us all of the Nigerian fighting spirit via the words of our very own National Anthem.
Words that call us to serve and stand despite our test and trials as a Nation; Words that remind us to protect and keep our beautiful nation in prayers always.

Nikki Laoye encourages everyone saying, "2014 has definitely been a tough time for us as Nigerians with the threats of Boko Haram, Ebola and more but look at where we stand right now - beating down each threat day by day and still standing to fight some more. God rest the souls of Dr Adadevoh and everyone who has fought to get us to where we are today. Nothing do us, I must say - GOD IS WITH US! WE ARE NIGERIANS & WE WILL ALWAYS WIN!!"

Be inspired once again, dear Nigerians as you listen to Nikki's captivating version of the anthem and watch the beautiful video shot and directed by Mo Abudu's Ebony Life TV.
Nikki Laoye's Nigeria Anthem version was produced by renowned music producer, Wilson Joel (Also the Music Director, House On The Rock, Lagos)

CEO of Ebony Life TV, Mo Abudu is the brain behind this creative concept of a revised edition of the anthem in tune with today's contemporary feel and sound.

YEMI ALADE MEANS BUSINESS AS THE COVER GIRL OF MYSTREETZ MAGAZINE

According to Sesan Adeniji, the publisher of Mystreetz Mag'In a rising crescendo, her brand name is resonating within fans across Africa. Gradually and steadily, her music is crossing into more continents and her brand is staking a claim within the corporate world in Nigeria. With her endorsement as a brand ambassador for the world’s most colorful alcoholic drink (Bacardi Breezer), not forgetting her involvement with the Coke Studio Africa, it's high time we realize; Yemi Alade means business'

"The perfect word to describe my career in the last one year would be "eventful" I remember sharing over 100 cakes to celebrate the release of two of my new singles at the time called "Birthday song" and " My Head O!" respectively. We toured over 15 major states sharing cakes and good music. In the process I recorded ‘Johnny’ with Selebobo which leaked online and the rest is history. Since the release of ‘Johnny’, ‘Tangerine’ and ‘Kissing’, I have spent more time at airports and hotels than my home. It's an amazing experience full of many tales’. In the words of Yemi Alade.

This edition is due out on newsstands nationwide soon.

RUMOURS OF PHYSICAL ABUSE ARISE AS TIWA SAVAGE ALLEGEDLY SACKS HUSBAND TEE BILLZ AS HER MANAGER

Judging by the numerous media reports and sudden trend of Tiwa's name across twitter, its obvious that there is trouble in the Balogun house.

It seems Tiwa Savage has sacked her husband of 5 months from being her manager. Tee Billz hasn't been accompanying her to events, with his absence at the Africa Unplugged event at London and we hear he is no longer in charge of her booking calls.

And now the story thickens as new reports imply that Tee billz physically abuses Tiwa and the singer is having none of that anymore.

Blogger Kemi Filani who writes on this says " Their marriage is barely five months old (they got married in Dubai in May) but Tiwa can’t hold it in anymore…she’s tired of putting up with Tunji…..he beats her, cheats on her etc…so many incredible stories i can’t even put here…but she’s finally ready to call it quit and it all revolves around her money.
Three different sources in their inner circle confirmed this. “Kemi, it’s nothing new abeg. We were shocked when she accepted to marry him, he’s bn beating her even before he asked her to marry him but love is stupid sometimes. When she agreed to marry him fine, we said ‘okay, do a private and not a big wedding in case things fall apart but they said no…it’s money sharing formula that is worrying them” one of the sources in the circle confidently told me"

We do hope all of these are just rumors as we await an official statement from the couple.

Bekele and Perry have been linked off and on for the last five years or so. There hasn’t been any official comment from Perry about details of this news as at the time of filing this report.

NIKKI LAOYE RELEASES NEW SINGLE - MIGHTY GOD - PRODUCED BY SHABACH | @NikkiLaoye

Today, Multiple Award winning singer, Nikki Laoye releases a new single, MIGHTY GOD, recorded in London, few days after she received the international award for "Female Artiste Of The Year" at the Africa Gospel Music Awards, UK.

Mighty God is a 3-lined expression of awe and gratitude to God for everything and more, delivered in the nostalgic soothing style Nikki is renowned for. The evocative worship song was produced by renowned award winning UK producer/video director Shabach of Beautiful Soundz, who had also directed the video for Nikki's Headies 2013 winning song, Only You.

In her own words - " #MightyGod is a simple song, straight from my lips to His Heart, my gentle caress of God's sweet face. He's been my everything and I just want to shout it from the rooftops that indeed there's no one who loves me, understands me, and shields me, the way He does.  It's a tiny peek into my never-ending love affair with Him and I want to share this moment and inspire someone to lean on Him some more. GOD IS STILL GOD and HE NEVER FAILS!"
